As It Was is a photography zine chronicling moments from my personal life over the span of five years. This collection captures the essence of time through a harmonious blend of media, presenting an intimate narrative of experiences.
Originally captured through both digital and analog mediums, the images underwent a transformative journey; meticulously manipulated using diverse experimental and traditional analog methods. The treatments imbue the collection with a tactile, almost ethereal quality, where each moment is rendered with a sense of nostalgia and timelessness.
The title of the zine reflects the raw and unfiltered reality of these captured moments, inviting the viewer to experience them as they were lived. The publication serves as a visual diary, a blend of memories and emotions encapsulated in a series of visually compelling and deeply personal images.
